21st Century Skills for Leaders: Connection, Presence, Listening, Empathy & Adaptability

Join me for a March 4, 2020 Workshop, 8:00-11:00 a.m. – Midtown Manhattan

We build our leadership from the inside out. This session uses Improvisation that offers experimentation and experiential learning to use in your professional and personal lives to great success.

Improvisation is a way to actively stay present in the moment.

Our roles provide a delicate balance that requires advanced improvisational skills and this is where our experience and training may fall short.

This experiential learning offers you a new and novel experience. It’s here we create an environment to support collaboration, the creative act and the innovative thought. The work provides sensory awareness & physical involvement for a faster integration of skills. It’s about radical presence and everyone can learn it.

In the workshop, we work with the following principles:

• Listen
• Be in the moment
• Prepare to be unprepared
• Say “Yes, and…”
• Make your partner perfect
• Stay positive

The results are you will:

• Find greater confidence, ease & comfort even in adverse conditions
• Discover a new way of listening and connecting
• Demonstrate courage and take risks more readily
• Think on your feet in fast-paced or uncomfortable situations
• Stay present to your constituents in all situations
